The Yinzer is a service-based complementary currency for the three-rivers bioregion of (eg Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Northern West Virginia).   Yinzers work alongside our national currency to promote economic stability at the local level, encourage community building through volunteerism, provide a platform for skill-building and non-profit training, and develop deep ecological stewardship.

Yinzers are NOT legal tender. Each one represents approximately one hour of work on a local service project.  Earn Yinzers by volunteering at non-proffit organizations that are improving our regional and local livability. You can also earn Yinzers by volunteering for your friends and neighbors!

Redeem Yinzers for discounts at businesses which recognize the value of your commitment to serve your neighborhood.  You can also use Yinzers to "hire" friends or to say thank you to someone who voluntarily gave you a hand.
